Kim C. Morris Scholarship- Awarded based on extracurricular activities, community service and GPA as factors. Kim lived life to its fullest while fighting MS for 20+ years. Her infectious smile and positive outlook rubbed off on everyone around her. Award amount is $1,000.

Ned & Barbara Place Cross Country Scholarship- Awarded to one member of each boys and girls cross country team. The athlete must be of senior status and a member of a high school cross country team for at least three years, two of which must have taken place at MHS. Minimum of 2.540 cumulative GPA but not higher than 3.499. Recipient determination: The athlete who has the best average time of his/her five fastest times. Award amount $500 each. $100 bonus if: athlete grew up on a farm; is left-handed; is a minority; or birthday is 1/27, 2/9, 4/4, 5/19, 7/14 or 7/15.

Rollie & Rose Platz Scholarship-Recipient must have attended MHS for at least three years, been the recipient of the Rollie Platz Sportsmanship Award and have at least a 3.2 GPA. Two essays: 1)State your aspirations for the future 2) Why do you feel you have earned this scholarship? Two letters of recommendation (at least one from current MHS staff). Letters and essays must be turned in to Mrs. Platz in the main office by the application deadline date.

RPM International Inc. Nursing/Allied Health Scholarship- Applicant must be accepted at an accredited school of nursing or accredited allied health program. Two scholarships for award amount of $2,000 each.

Dan Sherman Memorial Scholarship- In memory of valued teacher and coach for Medina City Schools for 12 years, Dan Sherman. He had an incredible energy for life and passion to make students better people in the classroom, on the field, and beyond. "Shermanate" means to care for others, putting their needs before your own. The recipient of this award must be a senior who shows great character, in and out of school, dedication to academics, athlete for Medina City Schools and has been impacted by Mr. Sherman. Essay: Describe how Mr. Sherman has impacted your life in some way. This can be personal, academic or athletic. Turn in essay to Mrs. Cavalier in White Guidance by application deadline date. Award amount is $500.

Sinick Family Dental Photo Scholarship- Awarded to any Medina High senior. Applicants are to submit up to five digital photographs depicting "Around Medina" theme. Photos should be taken within and represent Medina County. Winning applicant will have photos displayed in Sinick Family Dental office and may be used on website and social media. All submitted photographs should be suitable for a dental office. One essay: "What does Medina mean to you? What are your goals in life and how would you plan on using the funds from the scholarship to further those goals?" 300 word minimum.  Digital photos and essay should be submitted to Award amount is $1,000.

Jennifer Stickney Memorial Scholarship- Recipient must pursue post-secondary education, minimum 3.0 GPA; financial need. Preference to students who are HUDDLE/SHUDDLE members. Award amount is $2,000.

Linda Smith Scholarship- No information at this time.

Sam Toocheck Memorial Scholarship- Recipient must be college bound and pursuing a degree in business or finance. Minimum 3.5 GPA. Award amount is $1,000.

Jillian Schrader Towne Math Scholarship- The family of Jillian Schrader Towne honors her life as the mother of two Medina High School graduates and her career as a lifelong math teacher at the middle school, high school and college levels with this scholarship.  To qualify, applicant must pursue a math major or fields in STEM with an interest in teaching.  A priority will be given to women during the selection process.  Applicant must satisfy the following criteria:  1.  Minimum 3.0 high school GPA  2.  Two years of community service  3.  Complete a one paragraph essay “Why do you want to teach math?”  4.  Two letters of recommendation from Medina High School math teachers.  Award amount is $2,000, disbursed at $500 over 4 years with annual proof of acceptable progress (3.0 GPA) towards a 4-year degree in math or STEM majors.

Joan C. Tuchek Memorial Scholarship- Open to all graduating seniors pursuing some form of higher education. They must be of good character and have a GPA indicating the ability to reach one's goals. The scholarship will be based on merit. This scholarship has a separate application, click here to download. Award amount is $3,000. Application should be turned in to Kristi Cavalier by April 15.

Tutoring Center Scholarship​- Recipient must have two semesters as a tutor in the MSH Tutoring Center. Essay: 500 words or less explaining what tutoring has meant to you and how this scholarship will benefit your college pursuits. Award amount is $500 each to three males and three females, for a total of six scholarships.

Murray and Susan Ven Epp Scholarship- Open to any senior who participated in a varsity sport in their senior year. Financial need, work ethic and character are the main criteria, with preference going to a wrestler. Award amount is $5,000.

Paul Wilder Memorial Scholarship- Recipient must have a minimum 2.3 GPA; community service and extra-curricular activities considered. Award amount is $1,500.
